我看完这个电影觉得是很真实，多半因为跟台湾人的生活很实际。大部分电影看着他们在生活迷路，觉得很心痛/遗憾。看这电影是一个苦乐的经验但我非常感激可以跟这几个多维的年轻和丰富台北人。虽然这跟 the rest of his filmography 很不一样而已是说话的最多，我觉得这是 Edward Yang’s 强度。他每一个片子都太漂亮，美妙。
Translation: After watching this film, I felt its realness, mainly because it accurately reflects the lives of Taiwanese people fully. Most of the film followed the paths of characters who lead lives lost in translation, which was insightful yet heartbreaking. This film viewing was a bittersweet experience examining the multidimensional lives of young people in Taiwan, which I am very grateful to have seen. Although the rest of his filmography is very different and the film includes the most talking out of all his other productions, I think this aspect actually became one of the key strengths of this film. All of his films are so simple, yet beautifully hypnotic.
